Great as a gift for a wine buff, someone interested in unusual wine regions and wine styles. A fantastic food wine, pair with rich foods of all kinds.

Every year the Craft Wine Co. create a unique Chardonnay from heirloom clones on different sites, using different winemaking techniques. The 2016 has refreshing acidity which balances beautifully with this richly textured and aromatic wine. Aged in 2nd and 3rd fill Chablis casks means minimal oak flavours but lots of rich texture and fruit flavour development. Only 225 cases were produced.

Craft Wine Co. is based in the Willamette Valley in Oregon, a small wine region in the American northwest. It has a well-earned reputation for producing high quality wines, often in innovative styles from small producers. Small production quantities and Americans (quite rightly) drinking it themselves, can make it difficult to get Oregon wines in the UK. Hence why we are so pleased to offer you two wines from one of the most innovative organic producers in the region. Minimus wines were started as one-off experiments and continue to be made with that mindset. Small production runs, each vintage has a unique style. All wines are produced without additives. Strident believers in organic farming, they make their wines naturally, patiently, and with a seemingly endless supply of oenological curiosity.
