Thanks to the warm dry summer in 2018 this is a fun approachable Chianti Classico, adding more occasions and food pairing options to this classic foodie wine. Enjoy with a relaxed dinner or chilling with aperitifs, particularly sun-dried tomatoes, charcuterie, and cheese. These wines were made with Italian food in mind, so tomato-based dishes, pasta, lasagne, pizza, it works with them all.

Refreshingly fruity, vibrant with hint of violet. Delicious ripe cherry with spice notes and high supple tannins. Good balance with a soft finish. You may get sediment with this wine. Don’t panic, it is only Quercetin, a harmless plant pigment, it doesn’t affect the taste. Just pour your wine carefully, it will remain at the bottom of the bottle.
