Its rich flavours pair well with equally rich food. Hearty beef stews, roast beef, and roast turkey with rich gravy and all the trimmings. Steaks, game in a rich sauce and rich bean and beetroot stew.

This Chianti Classico Riserva is a sophisticated wine made from the best Le Miccine Sangiovese grapes. Intense red fruits and spice, and meaty notes developing as it ages, this is a complex wine. Although aged in French oak, the oak flavours are not overt. Ageing has softened the high tannins. A wonderful companion to rich meaty dishes.
