Occasion

This wine is ideal for so many occasions. Enjoy with a relaxed dinner or take it to a dinner party. Wonderful winter warmer, for all those festive occasions. Super versatile food wine that pairs well with textured and flavoursome dishes like roasts, falafel, hearty pasta dishes, meat or bean stews and Tagine. Good with a wide variety of meats and not forgetting mature and blue cheeses. Enjoy this vegetarian and vegan wine with hearty squash (particularly if roasted) and mushroom dishes.

Ripasso is a relatively new invention, created in the 1990s. More intensely flavoured than a Valpolicella Classico, with delicious plum and blueberry fruit, more body, richer tannins, and a bit more alcohol. Like a baby Amarone at a fraction of the price. This Ripasso is particularly luxuriant with soft tannins and intense fruity flavours.
