Events/Courses Terms & Conditions
EVENT/COURSES TERMS & CONDITIONS
Please ensure you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions before booking your event/course. By attending a event/class you are deemed to have read, understood and accepted them.
DURING COVID:
WHAT HAPPENS TO MY BOOKING IF THERE IS ANOTHER SHUT DOWN
- If the government enforce another lockdown then we will offer either a refund or a chance to reschedule to all attendees who haven’t already begun a course. Rescheduling will be done through giving you a code to the value of your original booking.
- If you are halfway through the course, we will refund you the remainder of the value of the sessions you have not been able to take.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I AM ILL WITH SUSPECTED OR DIAGNOSED COVID OR ANY OTHER ILLNESS OR CANNOT ATTEND FOR ANY REASON BEFORE A CLASS TAKES PLACE
- If we are given 8 or more days notice, we will offer you a refund or reschedule.
- If we are given 7 or less days notice, we are unable to offer you a refund or reschedule as this is not enough time to resell your place. We do however allow you to send any friend or family member of your choice (they must be over 18 years of age) to the event/class in your place.
Contract of Sale
Completion of the booking process and acceptance of our terms and conditions forms your contract with How2 Enjoy Wine.
Payment
Payment of the full event/course fees must be made in advance and should be made at the time of placing a booking. It is not possible to attend a course unless payment has been received.
NORMAL Cancellation Policy outside of covid times
Cancellations must be made in writing by email.
For events and courses we can only provide a refund (minus a 10% admin fee) for cancellations made more than 10 days before the start date. For cancellations less than 10 days before the course or workshop there will be no refunds or transfers.
All clients are asked to agree to our terms and conditions upon booking an event/course.
If an event/course is cancelled you will be offered a full refund or a gift card to the same value as your event/course.
Once you have committed to an event/course, we recommend that you attend the scheduled number of sessions to get the most out of the programme. If the participant fails to attend all or any part of the course the full course fees are payable and we do not offer full or partial course date transfers.
Delegate Substitution
A substitute delegate may be named at any time before the event/course at no additional cost (they must be over 18 years of age), but a substitute cannot attend halfway through a course. Once a course has commenced the same student needs to attend the sessions.
Transfer
Requests to transfer to an alternative event/course or date must be made in writing by email.
Transfers may be made up to 10 days before the event/course start date and will incur no additional fee. However, transfers are subject to availability, and we have no obligation to ensure suitable alternatives are available.
A booking can only be transferred on one occasion. Requests for subsequent transfers will be treated as cancellations.
Course content
We reserve the right to change the timing, date or instructor of the event/course in order to provide a high quality service or where it is necessary for reasons beyond our control.
How2 Enjoy Wine reserves the right to cancel an event/course up to and including the date of the event/course if insufficient bookings have been received and will strive to give as much notice of this as possible.
Individuals booked onto a cancelled event/course will be given the option of a full refund or of rescheduling to a future event/course date if available. How2 Enjoy Wine will not be liable for any losses or expenses arising from amendments to the course or cancellations.
Late Attendance
It is to the discretion of the tutor to not accept a late arrival to an event/course if it is potentially detrimental to fellow students. This will be treated as a late cancellation.
Health and Safety
How2 Enjoy Wine takes a diligent approach to health and safety for the sake of all staff and users. Attendees/students are agreeing to abide by the guidelines of our Health & Safety instructed by tutors. Repeated failure to do so will result in immediate termination of course without refund.
Data Protection
Any personal information you give to us will be processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. We will use the information to process your booking, to provide the course and to inform you about similar courses which we provide, unless you tell us that you do not want to receive this information. Any personal data you provide may be held on computer files.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with English law and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them shall be settled by the English courts.
