Luigi Maffini and his wife Raffaella are both graduates in agricultural sciences from Naples University, where Luigi specialised in viticulture and winemaking. He put his training to good use when he took over the family vineyards situated on the coast of Campania, south of Naples, across the bay from Positano, an area of immense natural beauty. Since his first vintage in 1996, Luigi has tended and improved the old family vineyards as the source of his exceptional fruit, local grapes, Fiano for the whites and Aglianico for the reds. His wines are organic and are wonderfully pure expressions of these traditional local grapes.
